The Flower Shop terms and Conditions

www.theflowershop.com.au is an online service and can provide the prices it does by it being an internet service. Orders can be processed via the internet or if you do not have access to a credit card you can email an order to info@theflowershop.com.au and payment can then be made via electronic bank deposit. Please contact us for details. Same day delivery does not apply for orders paid by direct deposit. We accept VISA, MasterCard and Bankcard.

Product Substitution/Availability

Please note that with the volume of Mothers Day Flower orders, some flower/products may be substituted based on availability per state. If this occurs we will fulful the order to equal value if the selected flowers/products are unavailable.

Sunday Deliveries

These can be requested however due to area coverage and florist closures they are NOT guaranteed. We will however do our best to accomodate your delivery date and your order will be delivered over the Saturday and Sunday of the Mothers Day weekend.

Cut off Guaranteed Deliveries

Orders placed after 5pm EST on Fridy 9th May, 2008 will not be guaranteed for delivery on either the Saturday or Sunday of the Mothers Day weekend. However, every attempt will be made to deliver your order.

Pricing and Discounts

All prices shown on theflowershop.com.au are displayed with the discount already applied. No further discounts are available for consumer orders. Prices are current as they are displayed. Prices are subject to change at any time. If you have called us to enquire about pricing we do not guarantee these prices as they may have changed. You must check the web site prior to placing your order for guaranteed pricing.  All prices displayed include delivery. All prices are displayed in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. Tax invoices are sent only via email to the “invoice” address provided when ordering.

Flowers Freight

Delivery Time - All orders placed before 2pm Eastern Time for delivery to metro areas and capital cities can be delivered the same day. This applies for business day deliveries (Monday to Friday). Exclusions apply for same day delivery for Public Holidays and days of significance e.g. St Valentines Day.

Delivery Times for country areas – Orders need to be placed for the next business day.

Deliveries for weekends and public holidays – Orders for weekends must be placed by Friday 2pm Eastern Time or the previous business working day. Deliveries can not be guaranteed for public holidays. Please check prior to ordering if a delivery can be made.

Flowers must be delivered to an address where someone can be available to sign for the delivery. They can not be left on door steps and the alike. They can not be delivered to Post Office Boxes. If an address is provided where no body is home to sign and the flowers are not delivered a re-delivery fee will be incurred. This fee varies depending on location. Please contact us for details.

Flower Refunds

If you change of Mind – No refund will be given.

If you provided the wrong Delivery Address no refund will be given. Flowers must be delivered to an address where someone can be available to sign for the delivery. They can not be left on door steps and the alike. They can not be delivered to Post Office Boxes. If an address is provided where no body is home to sign and the flowers are not delivered a re-delivery fee will be incurred. This fee varies depending on location. Please contact us for details.

If courier company leaves note to advise of delivery due to no one being home and the recipient does not contact the courier company to organize re-delivery within a 2 day period then no refund will be provided.

Damaged Flowers – if your order of flowers arrives damaged or of poor quality a replacement order will be sent to a similar value or refund offered

Late delivery – If order is placed after 2pm for same day delivery no refund will be given. If late delivery occurs and order was placed before 2pm then a refund will be given.
